Eastern Region Diabetes Local Research Network
The Team
The Eastern Diabetes Local Research Network was established in 2005. We’re hosted by the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and are based within the Institute of Metabolic Science in Cambridge.
Our Executive Board oversees our work and meets to discuss our progress and future plans for the local research network. This group works closely with the Clinical Lead and the Network Manager to provide support in operational decision making and advising on the development of the local NIHR diabetes portfolio.
We also have a core DRN team who help support the network across the region and a clinical team of diabetes research nurses.
